Shooting an editorial at Bon Repos Castle was originally just a crazy idea. Bon Repos is currently one of the absolute TOP wedding venues in the Czech Republic. And we had a feeling that we probably wouldn’t get there right away. But I said to myself: “Why not give it a try.” At first it didn’t look like it, but in the end the owners agreed and we had this beautiful castle all to ourselves for one afternoon!

How do you actually make a classic editorial? You come up with a concept, make a moodboard, and visually adjust everything so that it fits together perfectly. But my team and I went about it a little differently – more human and more realistic. The main concept of our editorial was the love of our real-life couple, but then also simplicity and minimalism.

Focení „time for prints“ mě nikdy moc nelákalo. Za prvé jsem primárně svatební fotograf, za druhé se mi do domlouvání focení s cizími lidmi úplně nechtělo. Jenže kvůli koronaviru byl květen a část června dobou i fotografického výpadku, takže bylo nutné jít foto-příležitostem naproti. Možná zafungoval fenomén štěstí začátečníka, protože s Barbarou byla bezproblémová domluva…
Focení na film a na digitál: Nikon 100F VS Fujifilm XT5
Tak jsem si už i já konečně koupil pořádný analogový foťák. Ano, mám v záměru ve svatební sezóně 2025 zařadit částečně i focení na film jako zpestření nabídky pro mé klienty. Tohle je mé přímé srovnání analogového a digitálního foťáku.
